A little project that my good friend chriscoephoto and I have started. As we’re both in different states, we’re writing letters and sending prints from our respective projects/travels to one another. As we receive them, we’ll post them. This is the first print & letter I’ve received. I took it with me while I was out photographing this evening at Massacre Marsh in Rye, NH. #fromonetoanother2014
A few weeks ago I made a post about the upcoming gallery openings that I would be in. Tomorrow night at 530 Harrison Avenue in Boston, The Magenta Foundation’s Undergraduate Photography Now opens. I will be a part of the show along with some other very talented photographers that are graduating from photography programs this year. These include RISD, SOMFA, Harvard, and more, so I feel a little out of place, but very honored. This is the second time I’ll be displaying work from the project I have been working on since last summer (the above image). Hoping to see some familiar faces tomorrow night, and maybe meet some new people as well. Details for the event can be found here.
I got to hang out with Ashley for the first time in almost two years last week when Chiodos’ current tour came to Massachusetts. She’s out doing merch and everything photo-related for Chiodos right now, so she’s busy, but make sure to say hey to her and give her a tip if you find yourself at one of their dates. Hoping our paths will cross again soon!
christiannapolitano's cat. I photographed the two of them together for my current portraiture project, which I'll post eventually. Couldn't resist this scene though - her eating her food next to the defrosting chicken.
I always work with Jacob and his bands, and his family as well. I’ve shot his senior portraits, his sister’s wedding, and two or three band promotional sets. This was a test shot for some family portraits we did last week.
Look who I found at the airport today! We’re hanging at Touché and mewithoutYou tonight at The Sinclair, then I’m driving him out to The Palladium so he can meet up with the Issues/Of Mice & Men/Bring Me The Horizon tour where you can catch him doing merch for a while. Make sure to go find him and tip him if you’re at one of those shows.
